TSE Certification

TSE Certificate of Conformity to Turkish Standards
The TSE Certificate of Conformity to Turkish Standards is issued to companies entitled to obtain a Certificate of Manufacturing Competence for products that have an existing Turkish Standard, confirming that the relevant products comply with that standard. Under the signed agreement, the company is granted the right to use the TSE Mark, and the certificate specifies the commercial brand, type, class, model, and variety of the products on which the TSE Mark will be used. The certificate is valid for one year.
The TSE Mark, affixed to a product and/or its packaging, indicates that the product has been manufactured and placed on the market in compliance with the relevant Turkish Standard and can only be used within the framework of the signed agreement. The monograms are registered in five different types according to Decree Law No. 556 on the Protection of Trademarks. The "TS" symbol and the accompanying number, when alone, represent the manufacturer’s declaration that the product is manufactured in compliance with the Turkish Standard. No guarantee is provided by the Turkish Standards Institution.


TSE Product Certification

Certificate of Conformity to Turkish Standards (TSE Mark)
The Certificate of Conformity to Turkish Standards is issued in areas where a Turkish Standard exists, confirming that the relevant products comply with the Turkish Standards. The right to use the TSE Mark is granted under a signed agreement, and the certificate, issued in the name of the company, specifies the commercial brand, type, class, model, and variety of the goods on which the TSE Mark will be used. The certificate is valid for one year.

Required Documents for TSE Application

  1. An official document showing the legal status of the applicant organization (notarized)

  2. Signature circulars of the person(s) authorized to represent and bind the applicant organization (notarized)

  3. Trademark registration certificate (as used on the product and/or packaging)

  4. If the applicant and manufacturer are different entities, a contract between them


TSE Certificate of Conformity to Criteria (TSEK Mark)

The Certificate of Conformity to Criteria is issued for products that do not have an existing Turkish Standard, confirming that they comply with technical specifications accepted by the Turkish Standards Institution, based on the conditions of Turkey and the relevant international or other national standards. The right to use the TSEK Mark is granted under a signed agreement, and the certificate specifies the commercial brand, type, class, model, and variety of the goods on which the TSEK Mark will be used. The certificate is valid for one year.

Service Place Competence Certificate

Service certification is the certification showing that services offered to consumers comply with the relevant Turkish Standard or criteria. If compliance is confirmed, the organization is granted the Service Place Competence Certificate.

Who Can Obtain the Service Place Competence Certificate?

  • Manufacturers or importers of products covered under Law No. 4077 on Consumer Protection and Competition, such as white goods services, automobile services, computer/electronic services, etc.

  • Organizations that provide public services via tenders, such as catering, cleaning, security, landscaping, laundry, pest control, etc.

  • Organizations required by law due to safety risks, such as LPG-CNG refueling and conversion stations

  • Organizations wishing to guarantee and prove their service quality to customers, such as bakeries, restaurants, photography studios, etc.

After-Sales Service Competence Certificate

This certificate proves that the manufacturer or importer of produced or imported products can provide sufficient service and spare parts support in compliance with legal requirements. The validity period of the After-Sales Service Competence Certificate is two years. It documents the legally required service stations with which the company must have agreements. This certificate must be obtained before applying for the Guarantee Certificate. If a product requires an After-Sales Service Competence Certificate, the guarantee certificate application cannot be made without it.
